Warehouse Supervisor

The Warehouse Supervisor role is a multi-skilled role involved with warehouse and office administrative duties, stock control and financial responsibilities through correct order processing.

MAIN DUTIES

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Primary contact for stock deliveries, assigning the stock correctly to the warehouse and ensuring that delivery notes are correct and recorded.
  • Ensuring that stock sheets and our internal KHAOS control system stock levels are accurate and aligned, regular stock checks to be carried out to verify stock levels.
  • Checking, forecasting, reporting and ordering of retailer stock in line with the guidelines for each retailer.
  • Assigning correct labelling to the racking within the stock warehouse and ensuring that stock is correctly and safely positioned.
  • Maintenance of the stock warehouse including cleaning, reporting issues and any stock that is out of date and no longer required to the department supervisor.
  • Ensuring that Forklift truck daily checks are carried out and recorded, that there is sufficient battery and reporting any defects immediately.
  • Lone working required at the stock warehouse and lone working protocol must be followed.
  • Be responsible for prioritising and managing workload especially at busy periods.
  • Numeracy in balancing orders and batches of orders.
  • Packing gift card and voucher orders to specific guidelines and with excellent attention to detail.
  • Despatching and updating order statuses using bespoke systems.
  • Uploading monetary values to gift cards.
  • Representing our clients where we act on their behalf for their customer orders.
  • Keeping warehouse and office areas tidy and presentable.
  • Responsible for health and safety in your area of work.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

What competencies and skills are required?

The ideal candidate would have:

  • GCSE’s to include English and Math at Grade C/4, above or equivalent.
  • Full driving license is required.
  • Forklift Truck Licence is desirable.
  • Previous experience in a stock role which includes correctly receiving and booking in stock.
  • Previous experience in an administration role.
  • Strong analysis and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to strict deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to keep calm in stressful situations.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within organisations.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Keen and willing to learn while developing new and existing skills.
