System Support Analyst

Hemingways is a specialist e-commerce, sales and distribution company representing a wide range of major UK and international brands. Due to sustained growth, we are looking for a high-calibre individual to support our key cloud-based customer facing systems. You will be responsible for providing second line support on a suite of cutting-edge websites for a number of high-profile retailers processing £300M+ of transactions per year.


You will be the central point of contact for second-tier, complex support issues and will be responsible for designing and specifying solutions to resolve these issues and being responsible for the project lifecycle of these solutions.

  • Responsible for all 2nd tier, in-depth support tickets.
  • Responsible for all communication regarding the tickets with internal stakeholders and retailer customers.
  • Working with other members of the Projects team, IT and external developers to resolve the issues.
  • Working with project managers to specify any development fixes required to resolve the issues.
  • Testing any development fixes.
  • Working with project managers to assist in testing system releases.

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workloads and work to strict deadlines.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your time across multiple tasks effectively.
  • An understanding of database design and the use of SQL would be an advantage.
