Customer Care Advisor

Permanent, 35 Hours, + Some Weekend Work, Ripon, North Yorkshire, Competitive Salary

This is a varied and multi skilled role requiring excellent customer service skills, excellent time management and be a friendly, adaptable and positive team player, who is customer focused and driven to achieve and exceed customers’ expectations across the business.

A Customer Care Advisor must be multi-skilled, while dealing with incoming calls and emails, responding to Live Chat and Feefo, taking customer orders, answering enquiries and questions, handling complaints, troubleshoot problems and provide information for our customers.

MAIN DUTIES

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • To be conversed with our full range of products (Vouchers, gift cards and confectionery) and services so as to respond to customer enquiries, provide information and support promotional campaigns.
  • Provide an excellent level of customer support.
  • Effectively utilise the in-house automated information systems.
  • To build relationships with individuals at all levels.
  • Work successfully with others – valuing and utilising the different skills of colleagues across the organisation.
  • Communicating clearly and concisely, promoting free-flowing communication with the ability of remaining calm during difficult situations.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues.
  • Follow up customer calls/emails where necessary.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

What competencies and skills are required?

The ideal candidate would have:

  • Confident communicator- both verbal and non-verbal communication.
  • GCSE’s to include Math and English at grade C or above, or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to understand and work with various IT systems.
  • Enthusiasm to learn new skills and progress.
