The Consumer Order Processor Team Leader role is a multi-skilled role involved with workflow and office management, staff training and supervision and includes office administrative duties, stock control and financial responsibilities through correct order processing.

This role is responsible for training and managing temporary staff, managing workflow, identifying gaps in staffing needs and re-allocating staff if necessary while following guidelines on administrative duties. It will require excellent communication and time management skills as well as having a keen eye for detail.

MAIN DUTIES

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Training temporary staff in the department’s processes and identifying any poor performance.
  • Workflow management of a busy department, prioritising orders and re-allocating staff where required.
  • Driving and encouraging a team of staff to succeed through motivation and setting an excellent example.
  • Production and maintenance of daily timetables and identifying gaps in staffing levels.
  • Communicating with other departments to manage staffing levels.
  • Numeracy in balancing orders, counting and sorting post and batches of orders.
  • Following guidelines on processing orders.
  • Representing our clients where we act on their behalf for their customer orders.
  • Responsible for security, unlocking and locking up of offices and the building.
  • Responsible for health and safety in your area of work.
  • Able to effectively work to tight deadlines during peak periods.
PERSONAL SPECIFICATION

  • GCSE’s in English and Maths at or above grade C/4 or equivalent.
  • Previous management or supervisory experience.
