IT Project Manager

Full Time- 35 hrs p/w


Role Summary


You will manage a portfolio of software development projects through the full project lifecycle. These projects will be for internal systems (ERP, data warehousing, reporting) and cutting edge websites (B2B and B2C) for external clients. You will be responsible for all elements of the projects and will manage the relationships with external customers, internal stakeholders and internal and external developers.


Main Duties:


  • Significant experience in project lifecycle management including business analysis, requirement definition, functional specification, change control, risk management and implementation.
  • Experience in concurrently managing multiple small to medium size projects spanning technologies and business areas ideally within an entrepreneurial business environment.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels and to communicate project status, deliveries, risks and issues, scope changes, milestone achievement, misses and implications to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Technical aptitude and an ability to provide a communication “bridge” between the business and development teams. Experience of development with SQL Server would be an advantage.


Skills Required:


  • Formal qualification in Project Management (eg PRINCE2) is desirable.
